Coral Renaie first started growing ‘thick sideburns’ at nine and shaving was ‘the only way to survive’. Now she’s embracing her beard and her clean-shaven boyfriend loves it too
A bearded lady who gets called “dirty” by trolls has learned to embrace her facial furniture.
Coral Renaie, 30, first started growing thick sideburns at the age of nine and, by 12, she was shaving her face daily. She suffers from he polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which causes abnormal hormone levels in the body, and spent almost two decades feeling self conscious and trimming her facial hair.
Now, the adult content creator has thrown the razor away for good and has a new-found love for her whiskers. And fresh-faced boyfriend, Illias, 25, is rather fond of them too.

Take a look inside the love life of the woman with the ‘world’s longest beard’, here.
“After I stopped shaving we both were just a lot happier – him because I was finally getting confident in myself as I was, and me because I wasn’t in so much pain [due to shaving my sensitive skin] anymore,” Coral told Need to Know.
While Coral now relishes a life of feeling comfortable in her own skin, it hasn't always been easy for the OnlyFans model. Flashback to the 1990s when Coral was just a kid, and she was subjected to an endless torrent of abuse.
“Starting at about four years old, I was getting darker skin on my neck, knees, elbows, and ankles, caused by insulin resistance associated with my PCOS,” she said. “One person thought I was dirty and would tell me to scrape my skin in the bath to get it off.”
On the verge of adolescence, shaving became part of her daily routine in order to ward off criticism. “I felt like shaving was the only way I would survive,” she revealed. “In some ways, I feel like this is somewhat validated by the amount of hate I get online [now].”
Despite having a new air of confidence, and a swathe of male fans who "enjoy the view" on OnlyFans, Coral still gets a lot of hate from trolls. “[People online] ask what I am because somehow hair makes me not seem human, or if I’m a man or a woman,” she said.
“In person, people usually don’t confront me. I definitely get a lot of staring and sometimes they will get their phones out and try to take pictures."
Thanks to her loving family and her near 23,000 adoring TikTok followers, the sultry star has formed a support network as a veil of protection from the vile comments. “My beard has nothing to do with me being odd or different. I love myself and that infuriates people,” Coral concluded.
