A few weeks later, this same man followed up with another message, saying he spotted her at a cafe earlier that day.

Taila, like many creators, depends on her online platforms for her livelihood. However, the 24-year-old says incidents like these not only jeopardise her personal safety but also threaten her ability to continue her work confidently.
She said: "Being a content creator does not give anyone the license to infringe upon my personal space or make me feel unsafe. I urge all subscribers and fans to respect our boundaries and understand that our online persona is not an invitation for physical intrusion."
Taila is sharing her experience to amplify the critical message that men, and indeed all individuals, need to recognise and respect the boundaries set by online creators.
She says pursuing or stalking someone, whether in the physical or virtual world, is a clear violation of their privacy and is never acceptable.
