EXCLUSIVE: Babestation presenter and Saints supporter Alex Le Tissier went to watch the team her father-in-law once excelled in for the first time since she fell out with him – and it didn’t go well

The daughter-in-law of Matt Le Tissier went to watch Southampton play live – but was left feeling scared and unsafe.

Footie lover Alex Le Tissier, 31, had not been to the Saint Mary’s Stadium since she fell out with her husband’s famous dad after becoming a racy model.

The Championship side earned an unsatisfactory point against visitors Rotherham but for Alex the experience in the terraces made her question whether she would ever return.

She went to the game alone and said constant dirty looks made her uncomfortable and the mum-of-four stayed in her seat at the final whistle to let the crowds die down.

Alex, who has contacted the police once before after being harassed by a Saints supporter online, spoke exclusively about the forgettable day with the Daily Star.

She said: “I hadn’t really been back since all the press and attention so I was a bit nervous because I have had threats from certain fans in the past and I thought ‘oh god what if something happens’.

“Just everyone honestly was looking at me up and down and I couldn’t believe it. I got to the bar and the lady thought she had seen a ghost and was just staring.

“I was actually really shocked and it made me feel really uncomfortable and then we drew to Rotherham. I actually got really scared and I waited until most of the people had left the stadium, I was thinking there was no way I was going out to all the rowdy people who were angry. I was by myself and if there was a group of people I would have no chance.

“I just don’t want to be around that and the atmosphere was not good. It was almost like I had come out of prison or something really bad.

“Nobody had the guts to say anything to me but the looks were honestly horrible. I felt like an exotic animal at a zoo, it was a really weird feeling.

“I don’t know if I can go back if I am honest with you. I felt really drained. You go and spend your Saturday watching and the reaction I got from the fans being there was horrible. I don’t think I will bother again.”

Alex said the day started on an uneasy footing when she went to the wrong entrance before a group of fans started singing Matt Le Tissier chants behind her.

But she said that going to the Southampton match surprised people who thought that her passion for the club was just an online act.

“That whole narrative really bothers me,” she added. “I have been with Mitch (Matt Le Tissier’s son) a really long time and it is a football crazy house.

“We have football on constantly whether it is a football podcast or a football documentary or three football games on at once.

“I do watch a lot of football and people say I only use it for the OnlyFans thing. But even if I wasn’t doing the whole Southampton thing everyone would say I am using the name regardless. I can’t escape it.”

Alex turned to racy work after struggling to feed her four kids during the pandemic. This led to being shunned by Matt who allegedly called her a 'bad mum' and told her to drop her surname.

But laughing now, Alex there was one blessing from the Saints game. She said: “I found out that my father-in-law was at the match as well so that would have been awkward if we had bumped into each other!”

Alex recently revealed that she was exploring an open relationship and earlier this month she told us how she went on a date with a woman for the first time who was just 20-year-old.
