EXCLUSIVE: Allie Rae has found herself in the limelight on numerous occasions over the years, but her most recent brush with social media notoriety left her heartbroken
Allie Rae's journey from empathetic nurse to raunchy social media influencer has taken her into more unknown territory.
Rae found herself in the eye of a storm in 2021 when she lost her job as a nurse after senior management at the hospital she worked at, found out about her side hustle of uploading raunchy pictures to adult sites. The Floridian is proud of her content and the enormous following she has amassed ever since she became famous.
However, Rae’s heart was recently broken when she was blocked by her beloved Minnesota Gophers college football team on X (formerly known as Twitter). When pushed for an explanation by Daily Star Sport , the university said the block was “unintentional” and that they had since decided to “unblock” her page.
While Rae was happy with the outcome, she was still furious with what happened.

"While I am happy that the University has decided to unblock me, I do believe it was the pressure from my community that encouraged that decision,” Ray exclusively suggested to Daily Star Sport.
“I wonder if things might be different if I didn't have such a large following and support. I also wish the University would have at least reached out to me personally or apologised, but they did not. Overall, I am very happy to be unblocked and can get back to just being a Gopher fan!"
As well as following the Gophers’ football and ice hockey teams from the stands, she also promotes their sports teams on her hefty social media platforms. Rae's online community include 187,700 followers on Twitter and a further 265,000 on Instagram.

Whether it is sporting the colours of the university or wearing their own merchandise, she has also hosted ticket giveaways and previewed upcoming matches to help them gain even more exposure. However, she realised her page had been blocked by the Gophers after she had travelled from Florida to Minnesota to watch their football team’s clash against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
While the university has made it clear Rae’s blocking was “unintentional” the former nurse believes this act was more in-keeping with the treatment she has received from other services and companies.
“Just last year, I was denied services by numerous CPAs and financial advisors due to my line of work,” she added. “Now, I am clearly being discriminated against, again, as a fan of my own team, for having an OnlyFans. When will this stop?”
As well as being one of their team’s biggest supporters, Rae also worked within the institution for five years as a registered nurse. Despite the altercation, Rae’s love for the Gophers has not diminished.
In fact, she has since been telling her followers to refrain from attacking the university’s social media pages. Rae recently tweeted: “Guys, let’s not hate on the entire university.
"I love the Minnesota Gophers regardless of what's happening and while this is a really unfortunate situation, I still support Gopher Sports and the community as a whole!”
