Kenneth Taggart had forced his partner to make ‘graphic material’ and sell it on adult apps while also abusing his cohabitant, leaving her ‘screaming in pain’ in a series of grim incidents
A vile thug forced his girlfriend to pose for racy content which was then sold online to make cash, a court has heard.
Kenneth Taggart forced his partner into posting intimate pictures on an X-rated subscription site in a bid to make more cash from "graphic material" when original racy images did not sell well. The horror domestic abuse campaign landed Taggart in jail for 14 months.
A series of savage attacks were also pinned on the 35-year-old chef, who left the woman "screaming in pain" over the course of a relationship at properties around Scotland. Homes in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Pitlochry were said to be the scenes of said abuse.

Taggart was caught out by a neighbour who overheard a violent attack at one of the properties, where he had "restricted her breathing" for around 30 seconds. Taggart has since pleaded guilty at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
He returned to the dock for sentencing after his plea in August. Lawyer Eugene Boyle, defending, told the court his client had, at one point, worked in a Michelin-star restaurant. He had also put himself into rehab following his arrest.
Mr Boyle added his client "accepts responsibility" and says a custodial sentence would not help him "address the problems in his life". He asked Sheriff Douglas Keir to spare him a jail sentence.
But judge Keir was unmoved by the plea, instead sentencing the Rutherglen-born abuser to 14 months behind bars for his "shameful and reprehensible conduct". The judge added "the only appropriate course is a custodial sentence."
Taggart was banned from having any contact with his victim for the next five years after a non-harassment order was issued. The pair had met online back in January 2020 and moved into a Glasgow flat six months later, previous court hearings showed.
Mr Matthew Millar, prosecutor at the time of the first case, said: "Despite the complainer's reluctance the accused insisted that she do so because it would improve her confidence. At that time the accused made the complainer provide him with the log in information and he would monitor the messages she received."
Taggart, over the course of the cohabitation, had "kicked and punched her" in the head while also applying "pressure to the point she could not breathe" in one instance. The woman later described staying with Taggart as a "living hell".
